30seconds Summary
FFM is Savannah's most beloved weekend event, taking place every Saturday in Forsyth Park, and has been communicating the value of healthy eating to the public for 15 years. The organization is a non-profit and consists of six team members and one project manager. In total, they manage over 40 pop-up booths each week. The value of a healthy community is of utmost importance to them, and they visited the market every week for six weeks to research their pain points. We bought things as customers, sold things as vendors, and became part of the organization and helped manage it. Afterward, we realized that the biggest pain point was the market's token system.
Token system
FFM has five different tokens, some of which are associated with governments or other organizations. They need to have clear accounting for this, so they count the total number of tokens by hand at 7am and 1pm every day.

Stakeholder Map
The Forsyth Farmers' Market started in 2008 on the south side of Forsyth Park and has been running every Saturday from 8am to 1pm for 15 years. Since Covid, as people have become more interested in outdoor living and wellness, the market has grown from 20 or fewer booths to 43+ booths in a short time, and the FFM team has remained at 6 people. We visit Forsyth Market every week for four weeks to experience the perspectives of outsiders, guests, vendors, and the organization and find that while vendors and guests are not inconvenienced, the organization spends at least three hours a day counting tokens.
